Frequently asked

What providers usually ask, before and after the demo.

We answer honestly, even when the answer cuts against us. If you're missing a question, write to us — we'll add it.

Contract and pricing

How you start with Aldor — and how you leave.

  • How long is the contract?

You pick monthly or yearly. Monthly cancels at the end of the month, yearly at the end of the term. No two-year minimum, no automatic one-year renewal, no hidden clauses.

  • What happens to my data when I cancel?

You get a complete export of all data as CSV plus a PDF archive of signed documents. We delete your data 30 days after contract end, unless you say otherwise. You can return without data loss until then.

  • Are prices net or gross?

All prices on the website are net, plus 19 % statutory VAT. Example — Standard with 10 helpers (yearly) = €70 net / month = €83.30 gross / month.

  • Will you ever raise prices?

At most once per year, with at least 90 days' notice, and never for active contracts in their minimum term. The increase is in the contract and the T&Cs.

Data export and migration

Your data is yours.

  • Can I export data without cancelling?

Any time. Clients, helpers, tours, visit records, invoices — as CSV, as PDF, as JSON via the API. Your data is yours, not ours.

  • How do I switch from Excel to Aldor?

You upload your client and helper lists as Excel or CSV. We take what you have — even if it's twenty columns and three merged cells. If onboarding takes 60 minutes or more, we handle the migration ourselves, free of charge in the first six months.

  • How do I switch from another product (Senso, Curacon)?

Senso and Curacon offer CSV exports, Aldor reads them in. For larger data sets we run a test import together before you pay. Anything that can't be unambiguously mapped, we surface for confirmation before the cutover.

GDPR and security

Where your data lives, who has access.

  • Where is my data stored?

Hetzner Online GmbH, data centres in Nuremberg and Falkenstein. Both ISO-27001 certified. Data-processing agreement ready to sign, EU sub-processors named. Backups never leave Germany.

  • What is encrypted?

Client names, addresses, phone numbers, Pflegegrade, notes, signatures. Before they hit disk, with AES-256, per column. Even someone with a database backup would only see ciphertext.

  • Can other tenants see my clients?

No. Postgres Row Level Security separates each tenant at the database layer — not in code, in the database itself. A misclick can't soften that.

  • Do you read my data?

Only when you explicitly grant access during a support case — and then time-bounded, with an audit log entry. Otherwise no.

Pflegekasse and § 45b

§ 45b, subsidies, recognition.

  • How does the 40 % Pflegekasse subsidy work?

§ 8 (8) SGB XI subsidises digital applications for recognised care providers up to 40 % of cost, max €12,000 once. § 45a SGB XI providers are eligible. We supply the application pack ready to file with your Pflegekasse. The subsidy runs until 31.12.2030.

  • Am I actually an Alltagshilfe?

If you're recognised under state law (AnFöVO NRW, UstA-VO Bayern, or equivalent) as a § 45a SGB XI provider and primarily deliver household support, accompaniment, or supervision — yes. If you mostly perform clinical or basic care under SGB V/XI, you need specialised Pflegedienst software.

  • Does Aldor help with the recognition audit?

Yes. Aldor logs every visit, every invoice, every helper qualification gaplessly. At your annual recognition audit you print the required reports instead of assembling them.

Migration and onboarding

From contract to first invoice.

  • How long does onboarding take?

Two weeks, in writing. From data release, your first helper is productive on Aldor within two weeks. If not, you get six months free. It's in the contract.

  • Do we have to migrate every helper at once?

No. You can invite one helper, onboard one client, build one tour — and keep the old system running in parallel. For providers with 10+ helpers we recommend a six-week parallel run.

  • Do I need training?

The Standard tier includes a guided online walkthrough. Pro includes an on-site session. Klein has a self-onboard with video walkthrough — usually enough, because the tool is simple enough.

Tech and integration

API, browsers, devices.

  • Which browsers are supported?

Aldor runs in any modern browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge. We test against the last two major versions. Internet Explorer is not supported.

  • Do I need to install a phone app?

No. Aldor runs in the phone browser, full functionality including offline storage. You can pin the icon to the home screen — looks like an app, is a website, no app-store approval required.

  • Does Aldor connect to my tax advisor?

Yes. Aldor exports payroll and bookkeeping in the DATEV format your tax advisor already uses. A Lexware export is available too. If your tax advisor wants their own connection, Aldor has a documented interface they can plug into.

Rather a real conversation?

30 minutes on the phone. Directly with a founder.

Some questions are better answered in conversation — we'll take the time. You'll talk to one of the three founders, not to sales. Even if you don't buy in the end.
